The sixth part of Ansāb al-Ashrāf by al-Balādhurī covers the genealogies of Kināna (excluding Quraysh) and then the remaining Khindaf tribes, forming a major continuation of his study of Muḍar lineages. It includes valuable biographical notes on notable figures such as Ibn Masʿūd, Jarīr, and al-Farazdaq. This critical edition is based on three key manuscripts from Rabat and Istanbul. With this volume, the full scholarly edition of Ansāb al-Ashrāf which started in 1978 is completed in seven parts across eleven volumes.
